Installing mods

ETA It's working! Lol I don't know what I did but yeah, I'm sorted. 

 

Hi everyone. 

 

Firstly I'm an absolute techno-phobe. I'm trying to install minesnax for my son. I downloaded and signed up to vortex. I did the same with nexus mods. I have watched the tutorials multiple times and still can't work out what I did wrong. I have bugsnax on steam. I installed the minesnax mod and see its enabled. I don't have a plug ins tab. The portal isn't showing up in the game. I'm so frustrated. I don't know what I've missed. Can someone please help??
