masterlist "Failed to update masterlist" and "Failed to load master-/userlist" (Tried everything to solve this. Please help!)

Now I have created the Roaming\Vortex\falloutnv\masterlist folder, downloaded the masterlist.yaml manually from LOOT's github for Fallout New Vegas and put it there. The number of errors has gone down to a single one: that it can't update that file, which is fine. The other errors about not being able to load it are gone. So far so good! I hope it doesn't turn into a problem later.

im a bit confused im facing the same issue trying to install skySA for skyrim SE and vortex keeps telling me I don't have the masterlist folder nor the file. you say u installed it from loots github. could u elaborate how u did it?
