I can't seem to log into Vortex - Certificate expired?

Hi!

I came here really hoping someone could help me. I've been trying to log into my nexus account on Vortex since last night (around 16hrs ago) after attempting to download some mods.

Not sure if it's necessary background information, but I was logged in perfectly fine until I changed the email associated with my nexus account - which, predictably, logged me out.

I am also able to log in with no issue to the Nexus Mods website via browser.

So, to explain the issue:

When I open the vortex app, it comes up with this:

 

Following this website link takes me to here:

 

Upon attempting to log in the usual way, brings me to this page:

Following the instructions only seems to lead to this message:

This is all what I got last night too - though I was sorta hoping that it would go away with some time, which is clearly not the case.

From what I understand it's some sort of security/communication issue between my computer and Nexus Mods. But what I don't understand is why it only appears to affect the Vortex app - and not, for example, the Nexus Mods website too? I'm not hugely tech-y so any help offered or work arounds that could be suggested would be so so greatly appreciated.

So yeah, I appreciate anyone who's made it this far. And if you could help me get back to modding again, that would be sweet. I'm kinda bummed cause I was ready to start my latest Skyrim phase again.

For reference, this is the version I am using:

The current version is 1.11.6.  Unless you absolutely need your older version for some type of workaround (older OS versions come to mind), you should probably d/l and install the newest version.  Yours may be too old to auto-update.

As Leonidas said, you're way, way too far behind to be supported. Please install the latest version of Vortex which should fix your issues.
