Ghost of Tsushima - Waterfall & Thunderstorm too loud

Hello,

I am currently experiencing a problem with the sound of Ghost of Tsushima.
The sound of waterfalls and thunderstorms is much too loud compared to the rest of the sounds in the game. I read on the Steam and Reddit forums that I'm not the only one with this problem.

Would a benevolent soul like to solve this sound problem? I'll let you judge for yourself what comes closest to something really "realistic".
