(did see something from like 2020 with the same issue) I load into the main page, click the game i want to look at mods for and a few seconds later (5-10 seconds) i get redirected, my anti virus pops up and says its blocking pop ups and stopping redirects. Then when i go back to the tab where nexus was I am on the 'This site can’t be reached' page for another website. The website it has redirected me to is rtbbpowaq.com (whatever the hell that is?!). I can then go back on my browser to get back to nexus but it just does the same thing again of giving me a couple of seconds then redirecting me elsewhere. Pretty certain it isnt anything on my end doing it cause all other websites are working fine with no problems. - Shunt
shunticles Posted May 30, 2024 Author Posted May 30, 2024 Hey, just saw that this has been moved to the bad ad section (sorry, as you probably know from my account i havent been on the forums before so didnt know it existed.) so i have some more info that i didnt realise you would need from from the thread rules thing for bad ads. (I also just checked and it is still happening but now i am being taken to mcafee total security as well as the other site) I have the standard windows defender/firewall etc as well as AVG which is saying no issues with my system or browser. Tried a few times on 29th May 2024 between around 21:00 and 23:00 BST and again on 30th May between 08:30 and 09:00 BST Last night, I was on https://www.nexusmods.com/thesims4?tab=new+this+week this morning i tried that one again and its still doing it. I then also tried https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3?tab=new+this+week and it is happening on there. Also it is happening on the main page at https://www.nexusmods.com/ (didnt realise this last night as i clicked to go to the specific game mods before it could redirect.)
