Sirandar888 Posted June 2 Share Posted June 2 (edited) Voicebot is a gaming speech to keystroke interface program for Steam and GOG (standalone) by Binary Fortress Software. It works very well with the Witcher 3 when you have a lot of mods with keybinds and use a K+M. You need a decent headset for it to be worthwhile. Witcher is a fairly fast paced game WRT combat and taking your fingers away from the WASD keys is often death ...... Voicebot solves that for me at least. However there are some caveats, and Voicebot exposes some issues with actions in W3. The first thing that need to be done to get Voicebot working reliably is to turn off Quick Casting ....... Voicebot is not sufficiently quick and reliable to quick cast spells, jump, dodge. throw, attack and block ..... Those are Keys ONLY However Voicebot will switch your spells more than accurately enough as long as you are not running or sprinting. Say Fire and it switches to Igni, sat Air and it switches to Aard. You could set it up with the words Igni and Aard, but the algorithm deprioritizes uncommon words. It can be a little tricky to set up as when I set the word Steel to draw my steel sword. the algorithm sometimes recognized the word steal and failed. Just set up the same key for steel and steal. Short unique world work best. Inventory sounds like too many other words, but "backpack" works reliably. Once set up it rarely makes mistakes. For running and sprinting I use voicebot to bring up the spell wheel for 2.5 seconds by saying STOP ... and this gives me enough time to pick the desired spell or action. Voicebot also works extremely well with the Chill Out mod ...... It is so satisfying when a soldier insults you and you can just say "FU" and Geralt will flip him the bird in first person..... and the guard gets angry. Voicebot works in third or first person (it doesn't care) and there is very little downsides to using the Gervant First Person Mod. For exploration and especially in interiors it is way better in 1st person IMO. You can use Voicebot to switch between 1st and 3rd person and and draw the appropriate sword.
