mcfinnie
I have used Vortex since the first time I could get my hands on it... incredible program and time saver... couldn't play Skyrim without it. Just 2 questions... when I install a mod it will usually say something to the effect of "Need to deploy"... if I don't respond will it automatically run Deploy on it's own or do I need to respond to start the deploy action? I already have in the settings to deploy but it still asks the question. The second is that occasionally I install a mod.... no issues... but then it says the mod I just installed didn't deploy any files ( and I did hit deploy). Immediately reinstalling the mod (not having to download it again) fixed the installation of the mod. I know sometimes other mods "win" over the mod but often it just didn't "deploy". I have the current, newest version of Vortex and play Skyrim AE. These are two minor, minor things about Vortex I was curious about. Vortex is a monumental achievement and I couldn't play without it! Thank you for the hard work and giving it free to the Skyrim (and all the other games it handles) players.
Solution 7531Leonidas Posted June 7 Solution Share Posted June 7 The settings section contains 'switches' for deployment behavior. I only use 'deploy when enabled' because I d/l a lot of mods for future use, especially updates for newer Skyrim versions. The other two choices immediately below that one might be of interest to you, however.
