Grashnook Posted June 9 Share Posted June 9 I'm pretty desperate for these two mods to exist; I've seen thrown weapon mods, but they just add unnecessarily OP weapons into the game. I have never found anything regarding Shadowheart and Mirror of Loss or the +2 ability boost she loses out on, which surprises me. #1: Dwarven Thrower This is one of the best throwing weapons in the game, and yet the user MUST be a dwarf to get any real benefit out of it. I do not want to HAVE to play as a dwarf myself to use this weapon fully, nor do I want to have a party member constantly be a dwarf via disguise self (hirelings can't use mirror of shar). I just think it would be useful and completely balanced to either adjust the dwarven thrower so that the extra 1d8 damage applies to all races when thrown, or create an alternate weapon sold by the same vendor that is basically the some but without the dwarven restriction. #2: Mirror of Loss/+2 stat increase for Shadowheart I love Shadowheart, but I always feel punished for using her because she can't use the mirror of loss if you choose the good path for her, so she just feels unfairly gimped compared to any other potential party member (aside from hirelings). I know its not exactly lore accurate, but for me this is more a balance issue. I would like non-shar Shadowheart to either be able to use the mirror of loss, or maybe even for the reward Aylin gives her to include an auntie-ethel style +2 stat boosting item for any stat you choose.
