Somewhere along the way, children taking their first design class in college got the idea that "modern UI" means drawing a rectangle with the marquee select tool and filling it with pure black, then putting some Arial text on it. I would blame Covid, but this was uploaded in 2024 so this kid's excuse can literally only be abject stupidity. This s#*! literally looks worse than my motherboard's BIOS UI. In defense of other teenagers in their first year of design, most of them at least manage to put a bevel on it. Or rounded corners. So the generation isn't a complete loss. But they do need to understand that their homework assignment isn't meant to be posted on the internet.
