Virmos Posted June 14 Share Posted June 14 (edited) Hello there. I was searching for better or simpler looting options and came across the mod Search the Room. Sadly, it is deprecated and no longer updated. From the comments I learned about a feature called 'Active Search' with a controller. By holding down the X/A (Playstation/XBox) button a circle expands from your character. If the circle touches lootable objects containing any content, a menu with all the loot from those objects will open, listing everything after you release the button. You can then simply collect it like you do with just one container. This feature is not only available on console; you can also use it on PC. However, a keybind for this is missing. There is a workaround Active Search on PC - Easy Fix, but it requires a controller to be connected all the time, which is just annoying. I think this feature is awesome and I'd like to access it on PC without using a controller. Does anyone have the knowledge to create a mod that adds this functionality under Keybinds for PC?
