Carry weight bug: player character has -24 CW and companions are unable to carry ANY items

The - 24 carry weight meant I was able to carry an infinite No of items. I was able to correct this with console commands but I've found no solution for companions carry weight! I'm playing a modded play through on survival mode, the only mods I have that Influence carry weight are backpacks of the commonwealth, GMC and a selection of power armor mods like some assembly required. Any tips for finding the mod/ bug causing this?

No idea what GMC is. Do you have any surviaval mods installed because this sounds like a debuff error.

Sorry I meant GCM, (Game Configuration Menu). I have Unlimited Survival Mode, and I had PEACE but deleted it through Vortex and started a new save.
