Is it possible to fix the geth with a mod?

I cannot mod myself, but I'm hoping someone who can would be able to do this. The idea comes mostly from this video:

The geth were terribly misunderstood in ME3, retconning almost every one of their characteristics. They never strived for individuality, there goal was to be in a shared hivemind, the complete opposite. The mission in the geth consensus falsifies history, making the geth innocents who only ever defended themselves, when we know they genocided more than a billion quarians in the Morning War. And Legion's death makes no sense, why would copying code be insufficient. The author of the video suggests fixing the problems (starting at 39:00) by cutting out everything about "becoming a real boy" and instead remove Reaper code to reset the geth.

I think this would be possible to achieve with little editing, but I don't know if that is even possible. This is how it could be done: leave everything the same before killing the Rannoch Reaper. After its conversation, Legion (or the VI) would reset and reveal that it was under Reaper influence, guiding both you and the geth to a goal they never wanted. Instead of uploading Reaper code, they would start deleting Reaper code within the geth and resetting them to their original selves. The conflict would still exist, that after resetting them, they would exterminate the quarians unless they stopped firing. After completing the reset, Legion would reveal that they need to delete themselves as the last geth tainted with Reaper code, this way giving them a death that both makes sense and stays meaningful.

I really hope this is both possible and someone with the knowledge is interested in doing it!

I dont think they retconned the Geth in 3.  We only get the Quarians side of the story before ME3. We see how powerful the geth are in 1, sure they had a reaper but still Sovern just mainly charged through but the geth held off nearly the whole of the council. Logic would state the Quarians would be nearly gone as a species if they were telling the truth but makes more sense that they were spared by the numbers we see them in 2 and 3.
