Manelin
Hello all! I'm sure something like this is in the works and many other people feel my pain... but UGH PLEASE, lets make pirating more interesting and versatile. By this I mean, if you kill anyone you automatically get a bounty, even though no one else sees you. Then, even though you might have scanning jammers, you will still get caught if you try to go to cities where you have bounties. As an alternative I propose this: A new form of warfare when piloting a pirate ship in combat... your enemy might decide to put out a distress beacon in which they identify your ship in an emergency message to whomever they swear allegiance to which you will be warned about and can disarm in a certain amount of time, if you're successful no one will know what you have done. Afterall, how can you enemy know your identity specifically. So... this way if you're piloting this infamous ship you will be caught when entering UC or FS space unless you are piloting another one of your ships (Decoy for when you wanna masquerade in society... or if you have strong scanning jammers then you will also get off scot-free in your infamous ship.) This is a bit more interesting of a system for getting caught pirating and also makes your ship more of a target and more of an infamous scary vessel to be reckoned with. It would also be interesting to find more ways to make being wanted more appealing. There are no real benefits to it at the minute... and at a certain point you will be worth more than you can actually make and you'll never be able to pirate enough to make what you need to pay off your bounty, which is really quite annoying. Perhaps if you and your ship become infamous enough the UC and FS will be a bit more frightened to fight you? Kind of like how the spacers and pirates react to you in the Razorleaf. Also... whats with the prison system in starfield? You don't even get to go to prison like in the elderscrolls? Would be interesting to have a more interesting wanted system in general. Anyway these are just a few thoughts. Any additions would be most welcome. -Manelin
