Strange interaction - Modded game, can load old saves + resave those but starting a new character saving and reloading a fresh save always crashes

Has anyone else experienced this? I can appreciate this may be down to a mod and I've installed quite a few recently, but i've installed them all and tested with old character saves they're all working/functioning correctly.

 

I've even loaded saves from the initial launch patch of the game and they've booted - re saved and loaded again after

But any new game save works fine all through the initial lifepath until I saved and tried to re launch and its always a crash. Maybe it could be something to do with getting out of the lifepath/intro stage and then its fine but not sure i want to waste all that time
