Modded game stuck in name creation

I am having issues with my game softlocking itself while character creation. Everything seems to be operating as it should but when I get to naming my character, it only gives me the error of "the name contains forbidden characters". It does not matter what name I put the problem persists. I tried uninstalling mods that are related to it and tried the vanilla intro except the another life version and it's still there. Searched around and also turned controller off in the settings but that doesn't help either. Are there any ways I can pin point where the problem comes from? My game is downgraded and here's the screenshot of the problem and the mod list I compiled FYI.
