Custom bodypart mesh not showing in Creation Kit

I'm making a race with a custom tail. The .nif file seems to be fine, as the mesh itself shows fine when importing into the creation kit. I made sure it has the same nodes and branches in NifSkope as the argonian tail as well.
I can view the mesh upon import into CK, but it is invisible when viewing in the race preview window. I am unsure if it's the mesh itself or the textures.... but it is probably the mesh, because applying my textures to another tail mesh doesn't make the mesh invisible in the race preview.

I can show you the mesh. Hopefully someone more experienced than I am can figure out what is going on, since there's not really a logfile for CK as far as I am aware. I've been using blender for over 14 years and yet .nif files still stump me. If the tail needs fixing, please tell me what should be done, and that way I can also apply same fixes to the other custom bodyparts, such as horns.

I got the tail to show up, and the horns. I had to add the correct partition for them in Outfit Studio.

Now the issue is the tail doesn't color with the body, and my game crashes when using a horns option.

For the tail to accept colour like the rest of the body it needs a Skin Tint shader in the BSLightingShaderProperty. Open the MaleTailArgonian.nif in nifskope to see how to set yours up the same.

As for the horns, you'll need to provide more information.
