RogueReverie Posted January 23, 2014 Share Posted January 23, 2014 Hey everyone, I've been searching for a house mod that is both spacious, aesthetic, and companion-friendly on the nexus and other sites, and have been rather disappointed with the options available. Perhaps one of you might be working on the home I am looking for, or you might at least be able to steer me in the right direction? I am looking for a home that has lots of space, contains rooms for several followers (I have 15+, usually only travel with one or two at a time though, so I need a place for the rest to be able to relax and hang out), includes a pool/bathhouse, and is very aesthetic. I have looked at several castles, as they would be the likely choice for a spacious abode, yet most are rather bland and seem to be rather simple. Simplicity isn't an issue really, but if it is going to be simple it should at least have some decoration. Anyway, I have looked at the Castle Draco mod, which as a result of its large town, caused a bit fps hit, not to mention the winding walkways were rather confusing as far as navigation. I looked at the LC Riverhelm mod, which was fantastic, aside from the fact that companions were unable to enter the keep and it lacked a pool/bathhouse. I don't mean to sound stuck-up or like I am an elitist , I am just kind of gridlocked as I am trying to find a home to house myself and my companions, that provides a pleasant and relaxing location with views as well as space, a good lounging area such as a swimming pool, gardens, and dining hall. I don't really care if there are npcs or not included, as I have more than my share of companions to keep me company :) It just seems like the amount of house mods out there have become more or less the same, but the ones that stand out don't seem to contain these elements that I seek. I tried the Bamz Nzchelzulft, but for some unknown reason had a lot of CTD problems, and I've looked at many of the estates such as Elysium Estate and Whiterun manor, which were wonderful but a bit too small to fit my entourage. The Ancient Fortress mod was a good size, only there wasn't much of a bathhouse. The closest I could find that was sizable and aesthetic was the Paradise Valley and Underground Bathouse mod, which met many of the standards I am looking for, only it was buggy from the guard npcs and the inside was glitchy with the optional rooms with individual cells. The Lakeview Extended mod was also pretty neat, but I just didn't find the features that interesting aside from the outside pool, and again, the place wasn't large enough for my companions. If any of you know of a home/castle that provides these requirements, I'd greatly appreciate it if you could mention it, unless someone is either working on one that I have described, or would enjoy creating such a fancy home.
