InDarkestNight
That game died with the AE update. Bethesda is hell-bent on stopping mods from working on it. Why do they keep sticking to that game despite bethesda doing everything they can think of to stop them? They already had to completely re-make their entire map from scratch THREE TIMES NOW, due to the thing being rendered incompatible with the current game. And then there was that thing some time ago WHERE THEY CHANGED THE FILE TYPE FOR TEXTURES WHICH IS MYSTERIOUSLY HARD TO CONVERT OLD TEXTURES TO. I was hoping I would at least get to see Atmora, but that was shot down years ago. Seriously, why does anyone keep making mods for s#*! edition? Its unplayable. Its been completely replaced by a highly unstable game that's complete garbage even if you can get it to work somehow. I'm borderline wondering if they're even seriously doing this project anymore. Why? Are they getting money from bethesda to do this? Are they actually part of that vile disgusting revolting cc club thing? What, do they expect us to re-download SE and then spend probably years getting it to work just to play their version of cyrodiil and morrowind and whatnot? With all that bethesda's doing to stop mods from working, I don't see how it would even be worth the effort. I did have the last version installed before the AE attack, but I've since how to switch OSs and my drive, so I no longer have it. If I re-installed it now, it would be the rotting corpse of what was once Skyrim instead of the true game. I've done what I can to keep SE, but it was forcibly torn from me, just like all the other games I love. This is why I don't buy games anymore, and haven't in years. Who the hell in their right mind would pay ungodly amounts of cash for something only to have it torn away from them after a few weeks, or maybe a year at best? Who the hell in their right mind would do that? Back on track, why is this thing still on s#*! Edition, the version that can't be modded? This makes utterly no sense. When I did play s#*! Edition, I quickly got sick of having to wait for MONTHS ON END for skse to update, only to then have to abandon half my load order because it didn't work anymore with the current version. Why even make mods when they only work for a few weeks at most? And of course, the thing would only keep running for a few days before they launched yet another attack on skse. Seriously, who would even bother trying?
