Jump nerf

Hello, 

I think that the jump feature makes a lot of things somewhat irrelevant, ranged attacks, jump spells, difficult terrain, etc., especially at higher strength scores. It's also highly unrealistic when compared to dash movement. Is there a nerf for this? I'm thinking that 4 times body length should be a maximum jump length w/o spell enhancement.
