BattleshipsSpaceships57
So here is the situation. I had a relatively stable fallout 4 load order. I was playing on the downgrades Fallout 4 as I can’t seem to get the pre-update game to play at all. It played smoothly with only the occasional stutter. Everything seemed to work as it should. No visible bugs, no crashes. I went on vacation, a road trip for a week we got home two days ago. Last night I went back to my game. I now have a brown face bug, all of my guns seem to be in a weird disassembled state where I can see the barrel, and it seems to be in what I would describe as an “exploded” view that shows all the presumably different parts of the gun model like you would see in a cutaway or disassembly book. My PC was completely turned off, and there was no possible connection to the internet as the nearest internet connection other than my smartphone that I took with me is 15 miles away. I didn’t change anything. Just booted up and loaded MO2 and launched. I can’t seem to find a way to fix the “exploded” gun thing. Nobody on the internet has mentioned it that I can find. As an example. If you were to say aim the .44Mag the cylinder would be at an angle that causes it to float up threw the top strap of the revolver, the bullets would be perpendicular to the cups set and angled to the revolver pointing at my character and the glow sights would be floating off the the left and right sides of my characters hands and way out in front of the muzzle. Similar things are happening with the semi-autos and all of the long guns as well. Thoughts?
TurntLogic
Quote all of my guns seem to be in a weird disassembled state where I can see the barrel, and it seems to be in what I would describe as an “exploded” view Blown-up or disassembled weapons are usually caused by a mod conflict. This could be a patch, addon, animation, framework, or simply the base mod is broken. You could try putting your load order in FO4Edit and see what mods are conflicting, and create a patch or adjust your load order appropriately. You could also try a binary search and see if you can find the culprit mod(s) that way. Quote I now have a brown face bug You can try the Rusty Face Fix. If it doesn't work, you'll have to look at your face textures and ensure they're all at the same resolution (1K, 2K, etc...).

Was a problem with that the .410 small game shotgun and lever action shotgun mods. The rusty face bug continues to persist. Even with the fix and removing everything but LMCC. I can deal with it but it would certainly be nice if it would go away. It also appears that Hi-Poly faces was causing a crash. Something about excess violations. But the crash log scanner doesn’t appear to work.
