Having issues with an unpublished mod when trying to download with vortex

I am trying to publish my mod but having issues trying to test downloading with Vortex. When clicking on the mod page to use vortex and downloaded it shows the below message

You are downloading an archived version of this mod which is no longer supported by the mod author. Please do not report issues encountered while playing with this version as they may already be fixed in the latest release.

It is strange as I never published the mod, even when proceeding it will fail with nexus saying it is a bad link with a 403 error but using a manual option it downloads and works fine.

I've never used Vortex.  But I suspect it can tell that file isn't publically accessible on the Nexus, so it defaults to thinking it's an archived file instead of a current one.

Someone who knows Vortex better will know better than me, though.
