atrus72
Have an issue where the SFSE DLL did not update to 1.12.36. SFSE is 1.12.36 in Vortex (ver14) SFSE DLL in Starfield folder is 1.12.32 Both Starfield and Vortex are on the the same drive. (no previous issues) Game is up to date in Steam First time this has happened, and nothing has changed since previous updates. I tried removing SFSE from Vortex and reinstalling, this didn't work. SFSE in game folder is still sfse_1_12_32.dll. Had Steam validate the files, and everything is ok, at current version. I can't find anywhere to download and manually install the current SFSE DLL. Game runs fine when using Steam to load, however only Creation mods work since I am currently not able to load from Vortex. Any ideas what to try next? atrus72
Figured it out! I have no idea why this happened in the first place, but I just found a link to the .dll and replaced the sfse files in the Starfield game directory, and it is working! I will leave this here for anyone that needs it: go to https://sfse.silverlock.org/ Download sfse_0_2_10.7z (this may change in the future?) Extract all Replace the sfse .dll and .txt files in the game directory. Vortex had a conflict, and the default corrective actions were what I used (use new files and delete old). Game is now launching from Vortex.

By the way, this has nothing to do with Vortex, it is a requirement of the Script Extender. Quote https://sfse.silverlock.org/ This is the original Script Extender page.
