Canis Hysteria is bugged

Tate Taylor’s mod, Canis Hysteria the Werewolf Disease is bugged. 
 

In the mod: what now happens at the end of the Hircine Daedric quest, the lord of hunt grants you a ‘blessing’ in which you now become a werewolf and subject to being hunted down constantly by Silver Hand. But the Silver Hand aren’t what’s bothering me. 
 

Problem is: what also happens is that there is a new book called ‘Taxonomy of Lycanthropes’. The point in the book? First assuming you’ve contracted the disease, once you read it, it begins a new quest to cure yourself. But whether you want to cure yourself, no matter how badly, is not up to you apparently. 

The quest doesn’t begin due to some bug. 
 

Tate Taylor, the corresponding mod author here on Nexus, hasn’t been active for a long time. 
 

Is someone willing to look into the bug? In case of being allowed to do anything with it, the mod has almost all perms open and green. Yes, including the one that grants for asset use.
