Game Won't Load Save On Current Playthrough

Hello!

I might be looking at a corrupted save file, but hoping not!

Loaded up my current playthrough on first launch of the day just fine. Didn't actually play at all and ended up closing the game (had to take a call). After relaunching and attempting to load up the same save (maybe 45 minutes later), I got stuck on an infinite loading screen. The background cutscenes change, the wheel spins, and I even hear the NCPD interview in the background. The bar, however, makes 0 progress.

Only thing that I can see would have caused it, other than just the randomness of a save file getting corrupted, is that I installed 3 new mods in between play times (all lived inside Cyberpunk2077/archive/pc/mod). I have since deleted all of those associated files to see if it was causing issues, but that  didn't get me anywhere.

I saw a suggestion to try to start a new game, and load the save after you get past the intro conversation. Tried that, and I'm still hit with the same issue. I have it up in the background as I'm writing this to see if the progress moves at all.

I'm really hoping it's not a corrupt save file, but it's all narrowing down to that, unless I'm missing something. I'm an idiot and only have ONE manual save on this playthrough (rookie mistake, but just habit to overwrite). I've also tried loading any other auto-saves or quick-saves from right before, but no dice. I have verified integrity of game files via steam twice just to really make sure it isn't anything with that. Saw another recommendation to delete modded cache file, no luck there. 

Any help/possible theories or confirmation would be greatly appreciated!

 

TL;DR

Loading a save on current playthrough suddenly stopped working (within 45 minutes of closing game previously). Mods that might have caused problems have been removed from game files. Can start new game, but can't load this current playthrough save.

I FIXED THIS.

 

I made the foolish mistake of not realizing another mod I had deleted. There was another file apart of said mod that was outside the /archive folder. Deleted that as well, and now the save loads again. Believe i just confused the hell out of the save as it last had that mod running on it, without half of the mod being deleted from game files.
