NO MORE FORCE GREETS

I am beyond sick of force-greets. Who the hell enjoys being paralyzed, forced to listen to the same stupid unskippable dialogue, and then have a quest you don't even want in your jounral forced upon you.

I'm wary of entering half the cities on the map because of force greets. I despise Eltrys. I despise Brynjold. I despise Maul. I hate the Alkr. I hate the Courier more than any npc in the entirity history of gaming.

Force greets should never have been part of the game. Bethesda are worthless f*#@ing idiots to even DARE contemplate putting something like this in the game. Everyone who even thought for a single instant that this would be a remotely defensible idea should be FIRED and then BLACKLISTED TO MAKE ENSURE THEY NEVER MAKE ANOTHER GAME AGAIN.

Yes, there's The Choice is Yours, but that doesn't stop the force greets. Maybe I'll make my own mod that just straight disables all these bullshit npcs so YOU DON'T HAVE TO DEAL WITH THEM WHEN YOU'RE NOT EVEN PLANNING ON DOING THEIR QUESTS. I wouldn't know how to disable the Alkr though since they aren't there at the start of the game. Eltrys, Brynjolf and Maul would be easy. Maybe disable Sapphire too while I'm at it. This a crude method of course, but what else can I do? I never ever want these npcs to harass me again. It must be done, even if there's no other way.

To be honest I share your disdain for force greets and it got worse in Fallout 4 with Preston Garvey. I had to run a good distance away from him so that he wouldn't give me another settlement to defend quest to the back log of settlement defense quests.

But to be fair there is no urgency to do these quests and if you hate the quest givers that much there are ways you can $*@# them over. Eltrys will die in the middle of the Forsworn Conspiracy, you can kill Sapphire when you offer to help Shadr with his debt and you can kill the Alik'r during the quest In My Time Of Need. Other characters like Brynjolf and Maul would require you to remove their essential tags with console commands or use a mod like Conquest of Skyrim which will allow you take over Skyrim and execute anyone you don't like ( I always use that one when I wanted to teach Maven Black Briar a lesson).
