InDarkestNight
Both programs work, but they have issues. The Creation Kit refuses to open multiple masters. There is no creationkit.ini on my computer to set it to do so. I created a custom one, but it ignored it. TES5Edit is also having issues. I can't set the theme, and the 'referenced by' tab displays nothing. I also can't drag-and-drop records. Someone asked about this on github, but elminster decided to be a bigot and refused to fix this issue. How can I use this program if the 'referenced by' tab does not work? What, must I search through thousands of records by hand to find every record that references the record I want? How am I supposed to make patches if none of these features work? I thought I had everything working once I got TES5Edit and the CreationKit to run. Turns out, they're unusable. TES5Edit will run scripts yes and show me conflicts, but that's it. I can't look up where actors are placed or what calls various leveled lists. Also, since I can't drag and drop, I have to just manually enter in a copy of every record I want. That's obviously really tedious. Why bother making a version of xEdit for linux when half its features don't work and the bigotted maker refuses to fix them? Are we not allowed to mod Skyrim on linux? Or make mods on the OS that the steamdeck runs? Or 20% of game developers on steam? Does Elminster not run linux himself? That would be rather surprising for a programmer honestly.
7531Leonidas
Running W10 here, and there are some records I cannot 'drag n drop', unless I first unhide all no conflict and empty rows, then drag the record's section to the other mod, either the one immediately above, or higher...
