Crash Buffout Log / Corvega

ScarletAethlae

Recommended Posts

Usually, I crash randomly; sometimes I can play for even an hour without issues, but Corvega just won't work.

Thanks for your response, I had already done it indeed, and each time I get this result with the impression that it's stuck

More recently, I started a new game and just crashed in Concord. Additionally, I've noticed that some rare enemies (Pillars and the big sewer monster) have been invisible in the game, killable but invisible. I'm not sure if it's related.

Edit The invisible deathclaw was caused by a mod, so the main possible connection I've had since the beginning is the occasional invisible raider, one per zone sometimes.

It seems to be a common issue. You can try disabling FCX Mode in the CLASSIC Settings.yaml, or try the newer GitHub release here.

Are those vanilla enemies? I don't think I've heard of them before.

Indeed, it worked, thank you. I'm getting the result below. As for the raiders, I'm using 'A bit Raider face,' which only improves their appearance. I checked the comments and bug section of the mod, and no CTD (Crash To Desktop) has been reported.

The unofficial patch not being detected is due to the French version I have.

I just installed Previsibines Repair Pack Stable Branch - PRP as recommended by the autoscan.d

edit = I just enabled the Buffout / Look Menu compatibility

Dictionnary Buffout =

Mods that add different body physics or change the female body usually trigger this crash.
Caused by either these mods or a compatibility issue with Classic Holstered Weapons

don't have this mod Classic Holstered Weapons

The rest talks about DLLs and Visual files. I'm continuing to search, at least it's a bit more precise now, but I admit I would have liked it if it directly pointed to the concerned mod. ^^

The NPCs Travel comments mention the Rusty Face Fix causing crashes if you've enabled streaming mode. If you have it installed, you could try disabling that setting in the Rustyfacefix.ini.

If that doesn't work, you may want to look at your mesh-related mods. You mentioned invisible NPCs before and your crash logs are listing a mesh crash. You can also disable A Bit Prettier Raider Faces and see if that stops the crashing.

I hope it helps!

Hello and thanks again for your feedback. I crashed in the presence of a ghoul without any raiders, so I'm starting to believe that the bug comes from the character itself. For now, I haven't encountered any invisible enemies again. I'm not using Rusty Face this time, but I have something similar—Oni Face retexture black face fix, and I use the Oni presets. But honestly, at this point, I'm a bit lost.

I think my only chance is to find this code in FO4Edit 1561B0B. Despite the many codes, it's the only element I have, but searching through all the codes is time-consuming and tedious ^^'.
