shakespeare101
Hello, This issue appears new, but it might also be that it is night and the light interactions are making something more obvious. Settings - tried Anti-Aliasing off and was running that way for days with no issue, but turned back to FXAA to see if that was the issue - no joy. 2) Tried Ambient Occlusion (AO) -off and HBAO+(Ultra) - with no change I could notice. One other possible connection is dark streaks flickering in the pipboy. Almost like artifacts. Note - Playing a large number of mods and that will be the next step, but was in the middle of a play through and wanted to see if I can fix this. Ideas? AMD system with latest drivers from July. All up to date. Edited September 1 by shakespeare101 additional system detail
South8028
They're just shadows. You may be playing with reshade. There are borderline, cinematic contrast settings in which shadows, as well as objects, stand out in contrast. There is also some kind of setting in the ini that accentuates shadows in a similar way, but I don’t remember the name. In general, these are not stripes, these are shadows. Experiment with shadow settings.
teridactyl
Are you playing with X-cell? It can leave holes in faces like that if it's conflicting with another face texture somewhere. Check the settings in the x-cell.ini. You might need to make some exceptions at the bottom of the file, or check any textures you have installed.
