HumanG33k
Hello to all, Notice : - I m french so be gentle with my english (trying to practise and I m not using computer translate stuff). - I'm a "kind of newbie" so act if I know nothing. What is my issues : - I hardly find a path to find what mod should I use - the maze of dependencies - how to find what mod cause an issue - how to fix some I want - etc What I want for my game (by order of priority) : - A more immersive game (visual should be consistant) - A more "realistic" game (survival, etc) - A more beautifull game - If possible translate in french (I can translate just If you have a good tuto for that) What kind of new functionnalities I will find cool to have (that not really fit in my previous section) : - Can lead several followers - Can i managed a shop - Having more complexity in npc relation - Having sex because why not How I want to achieve that : - setup a way to debug => if i can have a log file by mod that have 'intelligence' in it - a way to automate the dependency download, look like vortex not automaticly do it. Collections look never be clear, not build based on some layer. So what can help, some collection recommandation, some feedback and knowledge on 'technical' engine/library used by some mods (papyrus, girls texture and body stuff) and at what layer is related. I want to build some collection of mods to improve the fact I feel totaly lost when i come back three day ago after years of absence I absolutly forgive some stuff i want to talk but if i remember i will come back. I also need a little clarification about SE and AE as for addons it's look like that have a great implication. And as i understand it SE is AE but with the patch (dlc) and it's not always clear for me about what addon should i choose (sometimes skse complain, and some addons too about game version and dll). thx for your feedback
Rodr1sen
"....I also need a little clarification about SE and AE as for addons it's look like that have a great implication..." Rodr1sen
I couldn't put the two spoiler tabs in the same comment, I merged them into one My natural language is Spanish and I use a Google translator, I hope I can help you with some idea or in some way that is useful to you. translated into english: (I've separated the instructions you need help with to see if I can at least help you with something) What I want for my game (by order of priority) : - A more immersive game (visual should be consistant) - A more "realistic" game (survival, etc) - A more beautifull game -----Hello, I'm sorry I can't help you because I'm playing the LE edition. Taking into account what you want, it is something very simple. In Nexus you will find great works by authors and their works. Also find mods that change all or most of them in a certain aspect, combat, landscape, a simple search in the categories of the nexus pages you can find great works, maybe it will also be faster for you to get all this information by watching videos on the platforms, there are many that present the best modifications in this or that place, etc. This way with only 20 mods you can do everything you asked for above, as you will see that it is not a difficult or complicated job, always keep in mind to check the messages of each mod that you like to find out if it has any problems. or if there are many answers to unanswered errors, as well as the requirements that each author takes the trouble to write down in their specifications But if you are looking for advice and want to install 500, 600, even 1000 or more mods, I recommend that you look for information about installation packages, there are many that look good and you don't have to do anything else. than playing Skyrim. because imagine that there are almost 80,000 mods on Nexus alone (and this information is only on the LE server) and if you add to that that 20 people give you advice, you will never find a way to install what works for some and not for others. others, taking into account that each mod depends not only on the use you are going to give it, but on how it will affect your completed game and loading order. (You will also achieve this using Google search) What is my issues : - I hardly find a path to find what mod should I use - the maze of dependencies - how to find what mod cause an issue - how to fix some I want - etc ----(I would like to clarify that I cannot answer this question because this "etc" means a lot in the world of Skyrim and the mod creators leaving something impossible to answer due to its infinite possibilities) - If possible translate in french (I can translate just If you have a good tuto for that) ----If the mod author did not create the mod in your native language then you can choose to search for it on the internet or request it here on Nexus (there is a guide to be able to make requests in a specific language). way and friendly) - What kind of new functionnalities I will find cool to have (that not really fit in my previous section) : - Can lead several followers - Can i managed a shop - Having more complexity in npc relation - Having sex because why not ----Looking at the mod category sections that many authors upload to Nexus will help you find something you don't know what you're looking for, but you can also search for something specific on Google. "....I also need a little clarification about SE and AE as for addons it's look like that have a great implication..." -----What will help you is to search for the mods on the corresponding server and/or read the descriptions since the authors also note which version they are created for or if there is compatibility, if there is no compatibility, what you need to look for is called " patch" I'm sorry I can't be more helpful as I'm not using the SE or AE version.
