Sound effect mods working, Music mods not working (MO2 or direct Data folder install). Does anyone have a clue ?

I tried some music mods and none of them work.

Whether it's a ba2 based mod or loose files based mod, whether it's virtualized in MO2 or directly installed in game Data folder.

The typical path is sound\soundbanks\xxxxxx.wem

The strange thing is that sound effects, voices work perfectly and music doesn't.

 

When using a specific replacer for the 2 red mile music files, the starfield ambient music stays, and the speakers are silent.

These files are 894016756.wem and 985296626.wem

I got them from SystemIOIException 's mod Aural Frontiers. Cool tracks that work with foobar but not in the game.

Any other mod gives the same result, and I'm at a loss ?

 

Has anyone any possible clue ?
