WithinCaine
I suddenly encountered such a problem when using vortex. I tried switching network environments and turning off VPN, but it didn't solve the problem successfully. This is my error log: Error: read ECONNRESET at __node_internal_captureLargerStackTrace (node:internal/errors:496:5) at __node_internal_errnoException (node:internal/errors:623:12) at TLSWrap.onStreamRead (node:internal/stream_base_commons:217:20) Called from: at null (D:\Vortex\resources\app.asar\renderer.js:6451:37) at getUserInfo (D:\Vortex\resources\app.asar\renderer.js:6779:81) at null (D:\Vortex\resources\app.asar\renderer.js:6781:2) at tryCatcher (D:\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\util.js:16:23) at Promise._settlePromiseFromHandler (D:\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\promise.js:547:31) at Promise._settlePromise (D:\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\promise.js:604:18) at Promise._settlePromise0 (D:\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\promise.js:649:10) at Promise._settlePromises (D:\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\promise.js:729:18) at _drainQueueStep (D:\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\async.js:93:12) at _drainQueue (D:\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\async.js:86:9) at Async._drainQueues (D:\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\async.js:102:5) at Async.drainQueues (D:\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\async.js:15:14) at processTicksAndRejections (node:internal/process/task_queues:95:5)
Liaen
I got the same problem. Occured just now. What I tried so far reinstall Vortex add Vortex to Windows Firewall, even try it without Windows Firewall reboot router, update router firmware change DNS servers (Google or Cloudflare) Nothing worked. I suspect an Issue on Vortex side. All other programs run fine.
ChemBoy1
This is an issue with your local setup. Not a Vortex issue. People are posting about this all the time. It means Vortex cannot connect to the internet. Vortex does not control your internet or networking settings on your PC. Sometimes, Nexus Mods site goes down as well. Just wait a few minutes for it to come back up.
