Far Cry 3 Mod Installation Questions

Hi all,

Noob here so please bear with me. I’m trying to use the following mods with FC3 with no success: Immersive Sounds , Gun Realism, and Fast Loot/Heal.  
I have replaced (and backed up) the old .dll, patch.dat, and patch.fat files to no avail. 
FC3 isn’t supported with Vortex so I haven’t a clue what I’m doing wrong. 
 

When I just try to use Immersive Sounds mod, the game won’t even let me play nor open the options menu. 
 

I am using the Dx11 version if that matters. Any help or advice would be insanely appreciated. 
 

edit: got Gun Realism to work, but still no luck with Immersive Sounds
