bulwey
Hej Is it possible for someone to create a mod that ensures the sunset ends at 10 PM and the sunrise starts at 4 AM? That would be really nice and would help me a lot Kind regards Chris ย
BlickJustice
Hello Isn't it 10 PM-3 AM in the game? Can you specify why do you need this particular change? Considering how fast the time goes in the vanilla game (there are mods for it), one hour this or that way can go unnoticedย
bulwey
I find the times when it gets dark and when it gets light somehow inappropriate, it just feels wrong to me. So I thought if it gets dark a little later and light a little later, it might feel more natural. at least for me. Perhaps by way of explanation, I place a lot of value on immersion and use Friendly Meditation, which is probably why I notice the time so muchย ย Edited September 28 by bulwey
BlickJustice
I understand. Here, take a look at this mod:ย N'Tak' Time - Custom Timescale - Day and Night - Next-Gen and Classic at The Witcher 3 Nexus.ย
bulwey
Thanks for your help Actually i have already looked at or tried this mod and if I have understood correctly, it only changes the time how long a time of day lasts, but not when sunrise or sunset is. Or I was too stupid to set it correctly, also possible
BlickJustice
I don't use this mod, but judging from the description, I thought it was close to your ideaย "N'Tak' Time is designed to let the gamers tweak the timescales for specific moments of day and night. You want a 1:1 time-scaling ? You want to make dawn or dusk longer ?ย You can do it all. If you modify the time-scales in the configuration menu, it will be applied after a delay of 5 IG minutes ( I'll may reduce it in the future )." The developers also based the cut-scenes on the specific time (for example, the beginning of the game, when Geralt and Vesemir break camp), so it can be harder to change.ย I suggest trying different settings in N'tak's menu, i really think it's the closest to your idea you can get, I personally also recommend Immersive Time Flow (it's available for Old-Gen and the new), it makes the time go more reasonably than in the vanilla with a different setting for the cut-scenes, it works very good.ย And it's no problem, if you had any other requests or questions, go ahead, this forum needs more activity like one needs air.ย
bulwey
Thanks again for your help. Maybe I'll have another look at the mod and play around with it a bit. And I actually have another idea for a mod Is it possible or reasonably easy to change the times of day with the RedKit itself? BlickJustice
Very good, it'd be great if you managed to change that idea into a mod. About the last question, unfortunately, I don't know.ย I'll allow someone else who has tinkered with time/day changes in the RedKit to answer better. I'm sure if you have the tool installed, you'll find it sooner or later anyway.ย
