ardotheone
At the Very end of the O Gate for the quest "Bruma Gate" I found two of the 3 chests at the top of the tower are showing missing mesh. They both are showing the same stats in Refscope. The other chest is not. It is showing proper chest stats and it looks fine. All three of these chests should look the same. I wanted to find out what Mod was causing it but I'm being told it's the Oblivion.esp What to do?
RomanR
It seems you selected wrong object. This is just pointing to CitadelDeadraLordsChambers02 base object and same named model - a highest part of Sigillum Sanguis chamber, its walls and floors. Edit: Found them - the others two were under $0000C8C0 and $0000C8C1 reference IDs. Both are pointing to DungOblivionBossClawInt01 base object ($000937E3) and Meshes/Oblivion/Clutter/Containers/ClawStandContainer.NIF file (in vanilla). Edited Monday at 03:47 PM by RomanR Found them! I don't seem to be able to select them. I am not sure how to go about finding what is causing them out of the hundreds of mods I have. Any ideas? AndalayBay
Try Form ID finder: https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/16704 By default it also replaces the WTF missing mesh icon with a version that reminds you of the key sequence to use FIF. Unfortunately FIF's version is smaller, which makes the missing mesh icon hard to find sometimes.

Unfortunately FIF's version is smaller, which makes the missing mesh icon hard to find sometimes. That thing works WAY WAY Better! This is SO Great! Being able to see what is causing the issue. Thank you so much this kind of thing has been irritating and frustrating me for a long time. So not only does it tell me but it also allows me to open the chests. With the WTF it did not allow that. So Other than uninstalling this Mod what do you think I can do to fix this missing mesh?? Edited Tuesday at 01:59 AM by ardotheone
ardotheone
Looking at what I have installed. I have these installed. I think the main one is https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/46199?tab=files "OOO - Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul - Updated" Should I uninstall all of the mods listed in this image even the "Creature Addons" And then install https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/15256?tab=files "Oscuros Oblivion Overhaul 136b" Or Just uninstall the Top 3 and leave the "Creature Addons" and Install 136b? Thank you much. Edited Tuesday at 01:58 AM by ardotheone
AndalayBay
I can't help with OOO as I have never used it. I seem to recall that there was an update on another site. I think it got moved to TES Alliance? I would try searching for that and see if there is an updated version. I would also go through the readme and verify you've installed OOO properly. AaronOfMpls
Also, you could check the Oblivion forums here. Specific games' forums are in Game Communities, at the top of any forum page (on desktop 🖥) or in the ≡ menu > Browse (on mobile ). Click Join Community next to any you want to post in. Also, if you want better quality screenshots, Windows key + Print Screen will save your whole screen to a .png file in Pictures > Screenshots. (Not sure if it works in fullscreen games or not; the last Windows I used regularly was 7, which didn't have that command yet.) I forget if Oblivion has its own in-game screenshot command. UESP doesn't list one, and I'm not at my computer at the moment to check in game. (I have the Steam version, so I always used the Steam client's screenshot tool.) Seeing description of all shows that Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul - Updated is newest, so uninstalling it would going back to versions almost decade old. However, after downloading and unpacking BSA file I see that xmsclawstandcontainer01.nif file is present here and file or path isn't miss-typed either (just not using capitals, as always in BSAs). So I suspect there is something more at play here. If it is only this file which gives problems, I would to copy BSA to some another location, unpack it there and copy this particular file as loose back along needed dirs created and named exactly as defined.
