Is it possible to set a default outfit for an NPC to spawn with? In regards to main cast.

I've been trying to have certain NPCs from the story spawn with alternate outfits I've downloaded but I seem to have to change the outfit every time I encounter them. Is there a way to have it set that they spawn with my chosen outfit no matter what part of the game we're in?
