ParkerLuck394
Hey, fellas! Long-time Spider-Man fan here, with an idea for a mod that I wasn't able to make. I'm a fan of Mark Webb's take on Spider-Man, starring Andrew Garfield as the titular hero, but I'm also a fan of Sam Raimi's take starring Tobey Maguire, which, understandably, has got a lot more attention from all of you very passionate and talented people-- which meant I was able to replay MARVEL'S SPIDER-MAN with an outstanding amount of mods that made it feel like an alternate history version of the OG movies, with the works of GuitarthVader standing tall for their ability to make me feel so immersed, watching an absurdly accurate render of Maguire's Peter Parker both in and out of costume, in place of the default protagonist. But something else that warmed my heart, was LeMonde21's Raimiverse mod, which changed the whole world in such a fun, lovely, brilliant way. So, even tho I'm mostly unable to do anything with my computer that isn't immediately easy to get, I started working to see if I was able to do something like that for the TASMverse, and... I hit a wall so hard, again and again. I have learning disabilities and issues with my attention span, so it wasn't a task I was able to accomplish. Not only that, but I also lost the folder that had all the assets I prepared, which was the easy part, because I am a fairly imaginative fan with a good recollection of what was shown in the movies, and I know how to use Photoshop, Snapseed and stuff like that pretty decently for a self-thought person. So, knowing that the aforementioned GuitarthVader intends on releasing a mod that will add Andrew Garfield's looks to the game, I was wondering if any of you are interested in making a mod that, like LeMonde21's Raimiverse creation, swaps the pictures, newspapers and such from the default game, with TASMverse versions. If needed, I could even attempt to help, giving ideas on what to add, and creating pictures starting from screenshots of the movies, like I did before. I'm aware it's not an easy task because I wasn't able to do it myself, but if there's a fan of that version of Spider-Man out there who's able to do it, and they're willing to give it a try, I'm sure they'll not only create something that they'll enjoy using, but they'll also make a lot of fans very happy.
