Request for Mod to Disable Flashlight Flicker for Epileptic Players in Silent Hill 2 Remake

Hello,

I wanted to express my concern regarding the flashlight flicker effect present in the Silent Hill 2 Remake. As someone with epilepsy, this type of rapid flickering light can be very dangerous and might trigger seizures. I noticed that there is no option in the game settings to disable or tone down the flickering effect, which makes it challenging for people like me to enjoy the game safely.

I saw another user, @furflyer, already raised a similar request regarding the flashlight flicker, particularly for those with photosensitivity. I would like to second this request and kindly ask the modding community for assistance in developing a mod that either removes or reduces the flashlight flickering effect (and ideally other rapid light sources) to make the game more accessible.

Thank you for considering this, and I hope we can find a solution to make Silent Hill 2 Remake safer for everyone.
