Need help! Stuttering and FPS drop when looting or defeating an enemy

Hello everyone,

I am running into an issue where everytime I defeat an enemy or loot an item, the game stutters and drops about 10-20 FPS for a second. I am pretty certain it is not a hardware issue because my CPU and GPU usage with VRAM are never maxed out. This applies to whether I capped to 60, 120, or unlimited FPS (which is about 180). I play on 3440 x 1440p and this still happens even when I scale down to 2560 x 1080p. The rest of the time the game runs smoothly.

Note: I am also unable to start a new save. When I click on the "New" button, the game makes a sound and then just stays on the main menu.

Specs:

7800x3D

4070 Ti Super

32 GB DDR5 RAM

990 Pro

My load order:

Load Order - Pastebin.com

982 MODS .... 0..o

No - I did not read them all.

What I would suggest is: IF you have high Poly mods, check there first?

Then how many mods change the NPC's looks and such?

Just, seriously how many mods do you actually NEED -vs- just want?

... You might find scaling back some mods?

... Back up your saved gams to a different directory and start a game clean - with initially NO MODS LOADING ... until you get to the your character settings.

... THEN SAVE. < - There should be *NO - ZERO* mods at this point.

... Back it up to fall back onto if / when needed.

,,, Then turn on 2 - 4 mods at a time until you find the issue point.

Thank you so much. It was more like 400 mods. That is just the list of plugins I think. But I will try out your suggestion.
