Sirandar888 Posted November 2 Share Posted November 2 Had a annoying problem with micro stutter ... only really noticeable when looking at moving traffic .... every car would hitch for a few ms when moving every second or so. Tried many things and I was beginning to think this was a how the game worked .... but here are 3 relatively unknown fixes the removed the micro stutter for me. 1) If you have a separate user account for gaming on Windows .... there is considerable overhead if you switch accounts to it without logging out opf your normal account .... and most importantly leaving another account logged in doubled the DPC overhead on my system. Who would have thunk it. 2) Even after 20 years .... Nvidia can't write a proper uninstaller for their drivers and don't use Gforce experience. I never thought DDU Nvidia driver cleaner was needed but installing using DDU to completely remove everything Nvidia and reloading the latest driver seems to have stopped the microstutter. 3) Use the Nidia made reg hack mpo_disable to disable MPO I don't know whether it was 2 or 3 or both that solved my issue.
