HeadstrongWolf
(copied and pasted from Reddit, where I also asked for help.) Forgive me if this has already been posted, I tried searching, I've been working on this all day and I can't find a resolution. Odds are I'm probably just out of luck. I have gotten vortex to work on my Steam deck by installing the windows executable and running it through both Steam and Lutris - both of which have identical outputs. For some reason, in both Chrome and Firefox, the download links that redirect to vortex itself don't work. I thought this had something to do with XDG or whatever, but I couldn't get that working. So, my next step was to copy the download and mod staging folder from my Windows computer, where I already had all of my mods installed and working on game, over to my steam deck. Vortex on my deck threw a fit, But after a copying and pasting some files, I finally got all of my mods enabled on the deck. And deployed. And even though they are deployed and the files are showing up in the game directory itself, the mods don't load and the game loads vanilla. The only option showing up in the settings is the one that can work across multiple partitions. On my windows computer, all three options show up and all three options make the mods work as they should. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with it, but every time I select deploy mods, it gives me the pop up that all of my mods are from external changes, and wants me to either revert or delete the files. I keep the files by selecting revert, because the other option removes all of the mods if I'm not mistaken. If there was a way I could disable the external change pop up, I would. It seems a bit weird that I have to select revert changes every time I deploy the mods. You'd think I'd just have to select "revert changes" once. I also attempted a native Linux vortex app that seems to be in early development, but since I can't open links from Chrome directly into the app, I wasn't able to sign in with it. I don't even think that version has compatibility with Subnautica. Posting this as a last resort, as I don't know where else to ask, but is there any way to get these mods working on my Steam deck? I'll be happy to provide logs, screenshots, screen recordings... Thanks in advance. Edited November 3 by HeadstrongWolf Spelling error
