[DAO] Dog to Bear for Cynophobia

I'm looking for a mod that will replace Dog and npc canines with a bear, cat, or halla model and will remove barking and growling sounds from the game. I'm thinking the small blue heeler looking dogs could be cats, while the wolves and mabari could be something else. Any other animal not listed above would work as well, even a pet shade or ash wraith. It's not necessary for the mod to replace all mentions of the word "dog", but I know it would be much-appreciated.

A friend of mine would dearly love to play the game but has a bad case of cynophobia (life-altering fear of dogs and other canines) due to some childhood trauma. If anyone is willing to make the mod, point me to an existing one, or show me where I can find the tools to make my own, they will have my everlasting gratitude.

The mods I'm currently testing to see how much they might help, if at all, are Less barking dog by Luchair (removes one of Dog's idle animations) and ELF the pet cat v2 Dr Suess by monkeysnest (adds an additional pet). My friend originally thought one of the Dog to Witherfang or Dog to blight wolf replacers would be enough, but subsequent panic attacks watching me play the game proved they were not, so we're still looking for something that could help him.

If you know of any similar mods for other Dragon Age games, please let me know.
