Hello, I am having an issue with newest Nolvus Skyrim SE modpack - made a poor choice to try and customise it and require assistance of somebody with an actual brain now.

I wanted to add a couple of things, swapping the SC Horses with Steeds of Skyrim: Visual Horse Overhaul included due to personal preferences, yet no matter what I do I cannot get this specific mod to work with the rest of the modpack. I've thought it will be as straightforward as disabling SC Horses and overwritting loose files with priority stacking/hidding them in MO2, but it didn't work and I've been tinkering with it since then.

Initially, the horses were completely invisible after the first attempt. If SC Horses were not disabled, their assets showed up normaly. Tried playing with the load order while following the general rule of not putting things below FNIS, but with no luck.

When during further troubleshooting I turned off Bellyaches and Fluffworks, only saddles and vanilla mane/tail showed up without a body. I have attempted next to disable anything having to do with horses, like Simplest Horses or Maximum Skeletons, but there was no difference. Strangely, carriage horses are fine and display as they should be. I assume they use different horse model than player horses do or something.

I ended up disabling everything but Steeds of Skyrim, speedran through tutorial and coc'ed to Markarth, but the meshes and textures looked kind of broken and not quite right (attached picture - sans the obvious mane/tail weirdness, apparently this one should have white fur splashes). As a control, I've launched regular Skyrim SE instance with just Steeds of Skyrim activated, launched a new game and it worked no issue.

It is my first time dealing with a modpack and such extensive amount of mods - until now I installed everything by hand and had around 800, but mostly just eyecandies and nowhere near 2000. I suspect that in there somewhere is a setting or a loose/replaced file which has seriously messed up the horse mesh/texture, perhaps even forces a stiff replacement of vanilla assets overwritting anything else, but I am not technical enough to actually understand what exactly I am looking for or what might be the root cause. I also take under consideration that I might be simply an idiot and have missed something obvious. It's a bit sus that the issue persisted after disabling everything else into Oblivion, though.

Is there a chance someone encountered a similar issue and/or is able to point me in the right direction, please?
