Mod Drive broken, now vortex doesn't work anymore

So, long story short: I used to install everything on an external drive which no longer functions. Now, to my dismay, Vortex continues to try and work with the path which no longer exists and basically broke. I can't do anything, download anything, change folder, nothing works. Even uninstalling and re-installing doesn't help, vortex keeps giving me the error "The operating system has reported an error without details when accessing "G:..."" I can't re-manage anything, I'm just lost at this point and need advice.
