Project Overview:

This mod introduces a “Shadow System” into Skyrim Special Edition. Players will be able to summon and control shadows of defeated NPCs, creatures, and bosses. These shadows serve as powerful allies, each with unique abilities and ranks. The system is inspired by the concept of summoning shadows from powerful entities, allowing for strategic use of summoned units in combat, just like in Solo leveling anime or Web novel but in skyrim and follows skyrim lore with a bonus of the igris himself and the fight jinwoo has with him for the power

Key Features:

  1. Shadow Summoning System:

    • Defeat and Summon: Players can defeat enemies and use their shadows as summons. These shadows are tied to specific NPCs and creatures, taking on traits and abilities based on their origin.
    • Shadow Types and Ranks: Shadows are categorized into tiers such as Regular, Elite, and Legendary. Stronger enemies and bosses yield higher-tier shadows, with special abilities tied to their original traits.
    • Unique Shadows: Some characters, such as Dragon Priests or notable Skyrim bosses, provide unique, more powerful shadows with their own lore-based abilities.
  2. Shadow Growth:

    • Rank-Up System: Shadows grow in strength over time through combat experience and progression. Players can increase their shadows’ rank, unlocking new abilities and improving their stats.
    • Ability Unlocks: Each shadow has a unique skill set, such as elemental powers, stealth, or magic, that can evolve based on the shadow’s rank.
  3. Shadow Command and Combat:

    • Commanding Shadows: Players can issue commands to their summoned shadows, including attacking, defending, or executing special actions. Shadows act autonomously but can be directed to suit combat strategies.
    • Integration with Skyrim Combat: Shadows seamlessly integrate with Skyrim’s combat system, adding strategic depth and complexity by allowing players to control their summoned allies during battles.
  4. Shadow Questline and Progression:

    • Shadow Questline: A special questline is designed to unlock and enhance the shadow powers. The questline follows the player’s journey to discover and master the shadow summoning abilities, similar to how a powerful force grows within the game.
    • Boss Fights and Unlocks: To access stronger shadows, players will need to defeat bosses and powerful enemies across Skyrim, earning their unique shadows after these encounters.
  5. Compatibility with Skyrim Mods:

    • The system will be compatible with other mods that don’t alter the fundamental game mechanics, allowing for seamless integration with existing content.
    • Shadows will be adaptable to work with additional creature and NPC mods, making it easy to include new enemies and bosses into the shadow summoning system.

Gameplay Benefits:

  • Strategic Combat: The ability to summon and command shadows adds a new layer of strategy to combat, allowing players to use their shadows to overcome challenges in creative ways.
  • Customization and Growth: Players can level up and customize their shadows, evolving them into powerful allies that fit their playstyle.
  • Immersive Features: The mod is designed to be fully integrated with Skyrim’s lore, adding depth and immersion by ensuring all shadows fit within the existing game world.

Requirements for Creation:

  1. Shadow Mechanics Development: Creating the core systems for summoning, controlling, and ranking shadows.
  2. NPC and Creature Integration: Developing shadow versions of Skyrim NPCs and creatures, with unique abilities and scaling.
  3. Questline Creation: Writing and scripting a questline that allows players to progress and unlock shadow powers.
  4. Combat Integration: Ensuring shadows function smoothly within Skyrim’s combat system, allowing for commands and abilities.
  5. Balancing and Testing: Ensuring that the system is balanced and compatible with other mods without causing issues or conflicts.

Notes:

This is a free and open concept, with no financial backing. If you’re interested in working on this project, all credit for the development and design of the mod goes to you, with the concept being available for anyone to build upon. If you’d like to credit me for the original idea, it is appreciated but not necessary.
