Those are huge files.  There's always been an issue with the Mod Manager downloads getting corrupted on huge files, to the point that some mod authors disable the option on their large files.

It's usually recommended that you use the manual download since it's better at recovering from network errors.

If you're having network errors even on the manual download, which does not involve Vortex in any way, then it seems like it would be a separate issue.

the thing is though is that its not just those files its also smaller ones like gun mods that are only like 200mb or less and less than a week ago everything was working perfectly until it wasn't I keep thinking its that one collection that I made or the one I downloaded But that doesn't make sense because another guy that got my collection I made said It all downloaded fine while I was still having problems.

And about the networking problem I already know why its not working its just that everyone I've talked to has that problem when downloading big mods.

oh and this is for everyone that reads this can someone if you don't mind try and get like the same texture mod file that I got for example and see if it gets messed up or if it works for you so i can know if its just me or if its a big mess. Thank you

I am a bit confused. The textures of DLCworkshop03 are normally part of the standard installation of FO4 with dlcs. Or do you have a separate mod for it? Where did you get your game from? Steam, GoG, or? Do you get

the error message of NMM as soon as you start the manager? Maybe it's because you used Vortex before and it would only work on a clean new install of FO4.

Maybe I am blind, but which mod is it exactly? Or do you have some other examples of not working mods for you. Maybe I would test one myself.

Meanwhile I believe to know which one it is. It seems to be from here: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/52423 and it is a little big for a simple test. I also don't believe that it is a size based problem. You could manually download a wanted mod and unpack it on your drive. If whatever app you use doesn't give an error message the file is not corrupted. When you have the same problem with other games that you manage with Vortex the problem will most likely be Vortex. In this case uninstall and reinstall of Vortex might help. A test with NMM might need a complete clean new install of the entire game. I would still be willing to make a test with a smaller mod, but I bet I know the result already.

yes its that one And to answer your question @subaverage I'll try and use NMM again with a fresh install and since that other mod is pretty big to test you can try https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/43441?tab=files or https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/59293?tab=files or https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/67147?tab=files these all don't work no matter how many times I delete and reinstall.
