jvvcab28
Hello, I was wondering if it is possible to make a custom file path for armor mesh files for a custom follower. I'm completely new at modding, and I just learned how to make custom followers fairly recently. I use CBBE to customize the body/armor shapes of my characters and whenever I want to give them new clothes, I would I have to make a new armor using bodyslide, put that in the character's mesh folder and then equip that armor through Creation Kit. It's a fun process, but admittedly it's a bit tedious. I was wondering if there is a way to just equip my followers with clothes in-game and have their custom fitted clothes show up. My thought process is this: 1) I would still use bodyslide to make clothes for a particular character's body preset 2) store all of those mesh files in that character's own mesh folder 3) have a way to tell Skyrim to look for the armor meshes in that folder instead of the default file path for this particular character when equipping different armor. Or Is there an already existing mod that can do this? Does this function already exist and I'm just missing it?
scorrp10
Theoretically, you describing exactly what DAR (OAR) does for animations. Practically, no, I am not aware of mods like this. However, you could consider OBody. It allows to assign bodyslide presets to specific characters in-game.
