Need some help with platers..

Ok so im using Silverpeak Lodge, but i don't like how the planters are, i've never tried to deal with planters before, and all i want to do is move them.

But when i move them in the ck, base part and the dirt pile, in game the dirt piles don't move, im not sure what im doing wrong, the dirt piles have a linked reference, but im not sure whats going on.

I tried to start a new game, but in the new game the dirt piles dident move either, can i get some help, im not sure what im missing.
