Mods Stopped working

I'm playing on a Asus ROG Ally and An Asus mid desktop at home. I was playing with some mods on the PC and then loaded them onto the Ally while on a work trip  and had no problems. Came home and the mods on the PC are not working. I've tried reinstalling the mods, both via Vortex and manually. I've tried reinstalling the game and then the mods and nothig changes. No mods seem to want to work on the PC now. The kcd log file looks like the mods are loading, but nothing is working. I keep getting a message "It seems you have uninstalled a mod," but I didn't.

Fixed. Kingdome Come does not support the Soft-link deployment method. You need to move your mod staging folder to the same drive as where KCD is installed, then select the Hard-link deployment method.

What do you mean by "Hard-link deployment"? Maybe I'm facing the same issue here

This worked. Thank you so much. Was getting very frustrated at trying to troubleshoot this after not playing for five days and coming back to things not working.

Method: Vortex Settings -> Mods -> If you want Vortex to auto move the staging drive to the game drive select the top button (otherwise skip this step) -> ensure the mod staging folder is updated to your correct drive (you may have to hit the 'suggest' button then 'apply', those buttons are on the right) -> Try and change your deployment method to 'hardlink deployment'.

I'll note for others: My Vortex default staging directory was the C:\ drive, and like Snotburg said it needs to be moved to the same directory as the game. Vortex can do it for you like I state above, but at first it didn't give me the option to make the deployment a hard link staging method. I ended up changing the game directory to my correct drive first, tested if that fixed the problem (it didn't), then came back and then I had the ability to change to hardlink deployment, which did fix it for me.

Thanks again for this solution!!

I tried this but none of my mods are working still, even though they were working just fine a week before.
