GrumpyYeen
I've been modding Skyrim since 2018 and I know how to fix most of the problems, but this time I'm not able to. Here is the problem: I've clean installed skyrim se from steam (1.6.1170) after reinstalling windows, downloaded and installed SKSE (2.2.6), Address Library for SKSE Plugins (All in one 1.6.X) and everything worked fine as always. Then I installed powerofthree's Tweaks choose the correct version in fomod. After I decided to test the game and SKSE told me that po3_Tweaks dll plugin failed to load. I rechecked everything, it was all fine and correct installed. I reinstalled Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable both x64 and x86 versions, restarded my pc several times, nothing worked. I tested other DLL based mod like Community Shaders and it gave the same error. Then I tried installing SSE Engine Fixes with modified toml file, installed it correctly and tried to test the game and it gave me (Trampoline.h(187): Failed to handle allocation request) error. I deleted Engine fixes and tried to deal with the DLL error. I cheched all the forums but could not find the fix for that problem. I tried to install "fixed" Address Library that DarkDestroyer12 posted in Address Library's post page. Some people claimed that it fixed their problem, but it had to effect on mine. I thought that maybe the problem is in MO2, so I manually installed them all but still got the same issue. If you know what is wrong pls help. I've triead everything I could. https://modding.wiki/en/skyrim/users/skse-plugins here all these mods are claimed to be compatible with current version of Skyrim. My first guess was that the new update is out, but I've been proven wrong. Some poeple were telling to delete SKSE logs in \My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\SKSE folder, I don't have the SKSE folder there. (I launched Skyrim SKSE before checking it) Summary: SKSE itself without any other mods like Address library or engine fixes works fine. Engine fixes with or without updated Toml file gives Trampoline error Game launches fine when only address library installed DLL mods do not work and gives (DLL plugin failed to load error) my pc specs are: Windows 11 Intel Core I7 11700k Nvidia RTX 4070Ti Super 32gb DDR4 3200 (4x8) The game and mods are installed on M2 NVME SSD The game folder screenshot was made after deleting SSE Engine Fixes. weiht68
First - if you are on Windows you should have under My Games/Skyrim Special Edition a SKSE folder. My way to try resolving the error would be to deinstall all mods incl. SKSE and also the modding tool (MO2 in your case, Vortex by me). Check manualy that every file is gone, especially SKSE and also everything of engine fixes. Verify then your game files with Steam. Start the game and show if everything is running. Download LOOT and install. Run LOOT and check for failure messages. Clean with SSEdit autoclean mode every failure you get in LOOT. Mostly in the big DLC's but also in some creation you find a lot. Start again your game and try at least to make a charakter. Save it. If this is functioning reinstall VCruntime in Windows https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170 Install x64 and x86 verisons. If i was installing some bigger windows update like H22xxxx then i have to do this nearly every time. Start and test if the game loads your save you was doing before. Install your prefered Modmanager. I would go with Vortex because MO2 was giving me big problems as i was trying but it's your system . Install SKSE, adress library and engine fixes + crash logger according your games specification. Double check that you installed the right versions. Do not install some extra changes like modified toml file because this is not necessary for engine fixes v6.2 (also stated on the mod page). When this is installed check that you have all the folders what are needed. If you are missing for exempel the SKSE folder it could be that your Antivirus prevents SKSE from doing his thing. When you have all folder and files start the game with SKS64loader.exe form your modmanager or directly from your game folder. If it's function from your game folder but not from the Vortex/MO2 link then is probably something wrong with your modding tool. When everything is function until you install your first mod with a dll (for ex. papyrus) you should find under MyGames/SkyrimSpecialEdition/SKSE a file with the name skse64.log. There you see the loaded dll's. Also you should get some crashlog from the crashlogger what should be of better help to identify the issue. GrumpyYeen
Thank you for your response! I did everything you told step by step, even added Skyrim, skse and mo2 to antivirus exclusions, but I'm getting the same errors. WIth engine fixes I get trampoline error, without them dll not found. I'm really sad and mad about all of it. Does somebody else know what is the problem? HELP ME PLS I even downgraded my skyrim to v640 reinstalled all the mods, but got the same issue
7531Leonidas
Did you look at the nexus wiki for compatibility between game versions, SKSE versions, and SKSE mods? ( https://modding.wiki/en/skyrim/users/skse-plugins ) It is in table format, so it is pretty easy to use. If there is any mismatch at all, the above error dialogs can be triggered. The left hand error states that CrashLogger is the problem, did you get this version ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/59818 )? Make sure that you have the proper part 1 and part 2 of Engine Fixes. Double-check, and if necessary, uninstall/delete all of them, and start over... There are three part 1 files available, and you MUST get the proper one. Version 6.2 is for SE 1.6.1170 and the latest GOG version. Downgrading can mix and match stuff to the point where you can't get anything to work, make sure you followed the downgrader instructions exactly. GrumpyYeen
OMG I FINALLY FIXED IT. IT WAS ONEDRIVE ALL ALONG! THAT STUPID THING CHANGED THE DEF FOLDER OF MY DOCS FOLDER, AND BECAUSE OF THAT SKSE COULD NOT FIND NOR CREATE SKSE FOLDER IN MY GAMES WICH IS LOCATED IN DOCS! If you deleted OneDrive, the OneDrive folder will still be there, messing your folders FOR ALL OF PEOPLE GETTING THE SAME ERROR HERE IS WHAT TO DO: Check you docs folders defult location. Click properties from quick access. If you see OneDrive then you shall change it. Click Location tab in Docs properties and click restore to default. Here's the video on how to do it If that doesn't work for you and you get an error likethe folder already exists and etc, you have to reinstall and sign in to OneDrive if it was deleted. You can download it HERE After installing OneDrive you need to turn off the backup of your docs folder. Here is how to do it. After installation OneDrive may start backing up all your existing folders content, let it do it. You can't access the settings while it's backing up. After turning it off, go to your C:\Users\steam folder. Go to OneDrive folder and move Docs fodler from there to Docs in C:\Users\steam. Replace all if needed, or skip some files. After doing so, try to change the default location of Docs folder again. Here's the video on how to do it. If you did it successfully, you may delete OneDrive from your pc if needed. That's it! GO ON PLAY THAT OLD GAME WITH 3000000+ MODS!
