I have the same issue. And yes, I have the requirements, the script extender, installed.
Happens with this being the ONLY mod installed. Your help on this issue in these comments has been less than useless.

Does anyone have an ACTUAL SOLUTION for "MCM is inactive" error?
If it's the ONLY mod installed, it shows up if I export to game and launch game. If OTHER mods are installed, game takes ages to load and I get the MCM Inactive error.
Dev is less than useless in the comments, none of the other comments about this issue have any solutions, multiple people can only offer "It just randomly started working teehee!". Does anyone have ACTUAL steps to follow to fix this? Cuz the game is pointless without this mod actually working and the dev seems uninterested in helping.
EDIT: I ONE BY ONE, **ONE BY ONE**, put mods in the list and loaded the game up for each and every one. The NO INTRO mod breaks MCM completely. https://www.nexusmods******************
